Lessons from Uganda for Ukraine

More than 300 participants, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Labour and Gender — Vision Zero conference in Uganda revealed: labor safety here is at the level of a state priority.

🔹 “Do not hide accidents, people should receive decent compensation” — direct appeal of the government to business.

🔹 45% of women in government — and this is felt in the new vision of security.

🔹 Africa is not “far away”, but modern and inspiring. We have something to learn.

I introduced the Ukrainian experience — Vision Zero student programs. The next conference will be held in South Africa in 2027. We want Ukrainian companies to be there as well.
