Energy worker safety: we want to hear from you

Commissioned by the ILO Office for Ukraine as part of the "Protecting and Preparing Ukraine's Energy Sector Workers for Sustainable Recovery" project, ESOSH is conducting a risk and needs assessment of the energy sector.

🔎 It is important for us to hear directly from employees about:

• which risks are currently the most critical;

• which PPE and equipment the sector needs most;

• what needs to be changed or strengthened in the area of occupational safety and health.

We would appreciate it if you could share the survey with your colleagues — every response helps us better identify the real needs of the industry.

📌 The project includes:

☑️ improving OSH protocols for working during wartime;

☑️ providing workers with appropriate PPE;

☑️ psychosocial support.

💰 $2.71 million has been allocated for the procurement of protective equipment.

📅 The project runs until July 2027.

The project was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and worker and employer organizations, and is aimed at supporting those who are restoring and maintaining the operation of Ukraine's electricity, heating, and other critical infrastructure during the war.
